Association between Holistic Nursing Intervention Combined with Self-Administered Reiki and Changes in Mean Arterial Blood Pressure among Pregnant Women Diagnosed with Mild Hypertensive Disorder

Background: Hypertensive disorder leads to maternal dead and mortality in Thailand. Objective: This quasi-experimental study aimed test the effect of a holistic nursing program applying Reiki mean arterial pressure (MAP) pregnant women. Methods: Purposive sampling method was used recruit women diagnosed with hypertensive disorders. A total thirty-four were assigned either control or intervention groups. Blood measured as baseline prior beginning program, then after completion eight-week intervention. Descriptive statistics demonstrate characteristics demographic data MAP each group.
